How to Get Started at B3 Gym in Gainesville

One of the most common questions we get is:

"How do I get started?"

Whether you're brand new to fitness, interested in trying CrossFit for the first time, looking for a Bootcamp program, or wanting more individualized support through personal training or nutrition coaching, we want the process to feel simple and comfortable.

At B3 Gym, we don't believe in throwing people into workouts and hoping they figure things out. We take the time to learn about you, understand your goals, and help you find the best path forward.

Here's exactly what getting started with us looks like.

Step 1: Schedule a Discovery Call

Every journey starts with a conversation.

Before recommending a program, we schedule a discovery call so we can learn more about you and what you're hoping to accomplish.

During this call, we'll discuss:

* Your health and fitness goals
* What you've tried in the past
* What's worked well for you
* Challenges you've faced
* Any injuries or limitations
* Your schedule and availability
* The type of support you're looking for

No workouts. No pressure. No sales pitch.

Just a conversation to determine the best fit for your goals.

Everyone's starting point is different, and we want to make sure we're guiding you toward the program that will help you be successful long-term.

If group fitness is the right fit for you, the next step is our Onboarding Session.

Step 2: Complete Your Onboarding Session

Your onboarding session is a 60-minute one-on-one session with a coach designed to help you feel confident before stepping into your first class.

Many people are nervous about starting a new fitness program, especially if they've never done CrossFit before.

That's exactly why we created this process.

During your onboarding session, we'll:

Teach Foundational Movements

We'll break down the basic movements you'll see in class and help you understand proper technique.

Introduce Barbell Movements

If you've never used a barbell before, that's completely okay.

We'll teach you the fundamentals in a comfortable, low-pressure environment so you can start building confidence.

Help You Understand Class Structure

We'll walk you through what to expect in a typical class and explain how workouts are modified for different fitness levels.

Discuss Your Goals

We'll revisit your goals and make sure we have a clear understanding of what success looks like for you.

Whether your goal is weight loss, building strength, improving energy, reducing health risks, or simply feeling better, we want to help you create a plan that supports those outcomes.

Complete an InBody Scan

Your onboarding session also includes an InBody body composition scan.

This gives us valuable information about your starting point and allows us to track progress over time beyond just the number on the scale.

By the end of the session, you'll know exactly what to expect and feel prepared to walk into your first class with confidence.

Step 3: Choose Your Membership

Once you've completed your onboarding session, you're ready to join regular classes.

We currently offer:

Unlimited Classes

Perfect for individuals who want maximum flexibility and enjoy training multiple times each week.

3x Per Week Membership

A great option for those balancing fitness with work, family, and other commitments while still building consistency.

Our classes are coach-led, scalable for all fitness levels, and focused on helping you improve your health, strength, and overall quality of life.

Interested in Personal Training?

Not everyone thrives in a group setting, and that's okay.

Some people prefer more individualized coaching, a customized plan, or a schedule that doesn't align with class times.

If personal training is a better fit, we'll build a program around you.

30-Minute Personal Training Sessions

Ideal for busy schedules, focused training sessions, and targeted goal work.

60-Minute Personal Training Sessions

Perfect for those wanting more coaching, strength work, conditioning, and individualized attention.

Every personal training program is customized based on:
